  • 150g grated buah melaka
  • 100g desiccated coconut
  • A pinch of salt
  • Water

Instructions:

Now, let's move on to the preparation:

  1. Mix the glutinous rice flour with pandan juice and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Knead the mixture until it forms a dough.
  2. Take a small piece of dough and roll it into a ball.
  3. Flatten the ball with your thumb and place a small piece of grated buah melaka in the center of the dough.
  4. Wrap the dough around the buah melaka filling and roll it back into a ball.
  5. Repeat the process until all the dough is used up.
  6. Bring a pot of water to boil and drop the balls into the water. Cook until the balls float to the surface.
  7. Remove the cooked balls and drain them.
  8. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut until they are covered.

And that's it! Your delicious onde-onde is ready to be served. They taste best when they are fresh and warm, so make sure to serve them right away.
